Thanks ladies

I am still walking on air, and am still having trouble taking in that after only 8 short weeks with this company, I am 3IC of a fairly busy (small, but busy) store.

So to celebrate, I went out and brought myself a fab Guess handbag, and that pair of .50ct diamond hoop earrings I have been lusting after.

I deserve it, right?

Guess who got a promotion today?

Guess who is the new 3IC??




WOOOO - HOOOO!!!


I could not have imagined that my little 10 hour a week job would turn into a full time 3IC position!!

I am pretty fucking excited about this. A pay rise, more hours and as soon as I have 6 months as 3IC I can apply for assistant manager jobs (although I love the store that I am at, and wouldn't want to move, but a 38k salary does tempt me)

Gosh. Good things do come to those who wait, huh?




*3IC is third in charge. Basically assistant manager lite.

Tonight I made the yummiest veggie muffins....


1 large zucchini (grated)
1 large carrot (grated)
1 chopped eschalot
1/2 cup of tasty cheese
20g (or so) of parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic very finely chopped
3 eggs lightly whisked
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup wholemeal self raising flour
cracked pepper to taste

Combine the lot, mix, and bake in a lined muffin pan.

They were so good even Mr Cranky Pants (DS) loved them.

I have been reading some blogs, and a fairly consistent theme is "When I get to goal I will (insert fun or life changing thing here)"


But why wait? Why not do it now? Why wait another second to chase that dream, to make your life better. You will be no more worthy of it then that you are RIGHT NOW.
